Privacy policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KRANYX ("we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit or shop at kranyx.com, in compliance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (including the amendments known as "Law 25") and applicable Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

Who is responsible for your personal information
KRANYX is a Quebec sole proprietorship operated by Félix Millette. The person responsible for the protection of personal information at KRANYX can be reached at support@kranyx.com.

What we collect and why

  • Order and account information (name, email, shipping address, order contents) — to process, fulfill, and provide support for your order.
  • Payment information — processed directly by Shopify Payments; KRANYX does not store your full payment card details.
  • Communications — messages you send us (e.g., support emails) so we can respond to you.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — required cookies keep the store working (for example, your cart, language and currency) and are always on. Analytics, marketing and personalization cookies are used only if you accept them (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below).
  • Fraud prevention information — Shopify and Shopify Payments use automated tools to help detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Marketing communications — only if you opt in (see "Marketing" below).

Who we share it with

  • Shopify (our e-commerce platform and checkout provider) and Shopify Payments (our payment processor) — see also "Shopify" below.
  • CJdropshipping and other fulfillment/shipping partners, who receive the order and shipping information necessary to fulfill and ship your order.
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center), only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), only if you accept marketing cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising
When you visit our store from Canada, a cookie banner asks for your choice. Until you choose, and if you click "Decline", only required cookies are used and the analytics and advertising tools described below are not activated. Under "Manage preferences", you can also choose by category (for example, analytics or marketing).

Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Shopify and Google Analytics use them to collect information about how you use the store, such as the pages and products you view, your cart and checkout steps, your device and browser, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use it to understand and improve the store.

Google. We use the Google & YouTube sales channel to show our products on Google. If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, it sends information about your visit to Google Analytics and Google Merchant Center: pages and products viewed, searches, items added to or removed from your cart, checkout steps and purchases (products, order value and currency), and technical identifiers. When you check out, your email address, phone number, name and address may also be included so Google can measure purchases. If you accept analytics but not marketing cookies, Google's advertising uses are switched off.

Meta. We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure the results of our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our store. It runs only if you accept marketing cookies. If you accept, the following may be shared with Meta from your browser: the pages and products you view (including basic page and product details such as prices), searches, items added to or removed from your cart, buttons you click, checkout steps and purchases (products, order value and currency), and technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, Meta cookie identifiers and ad click identifiers. Your payment card details are never shared with Meta or Google.

We use this information to measure how our ads perform (for example, how many purchases came from an ad), to show our ads to people who visited our store (retargeting), and to help Meta deliver our ads to people who may be interested. Showing ads based on your visits to our store is a form of profiling. Google and Meta may also use this information for their own purposes, including measurement and advertising, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Meta's Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy).

Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes your information when you visit and make purchases on our store, including to provide services based on your interactions with other merchants and with Shopify, such as improving its products, personalizing your experience, and advertising. If you decline non-essential cookies, Shopify will not use your device data from our store for non-essential purposes, including advertising. Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers) explains how Shopify uses your information, and you can exercise your choices with Shopify at https://privacy.shopify.com.

Your choices

  • Declining does not affect your ability to browse or buy from our store.
  • You can change your choice at any time: clear the cookies for kranyx.com in your browser and the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also email support@kranyx.com.
  • Meta: if you have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can review and limit how Meta uses information from other websites and apps in Meta's Accounts Center, under "Your activity off Meta technologies" and "Ad preferences".
  • Google: you can manage ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com and block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
  • Industry opt-out tool: https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Withdrawing your consent stops new information from being shared from our store. Information already received by Google, Meta or Shopify is governed by their own privacy policies.

Cross-border processing
Some of the service providers above, including CJdropshipping, Shopify, Google and Meta, may process or store information outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States and in jurisdictions whose privacy laws may differ from Quebec's. By using our store, you acknowledge this cross-border processing. We take reasonable steps to work only with service providers whose practices are consistent with our obligations under Quebec and Canadian privacy law.

How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here (including order records for accounting and legal obligations), after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where a longer retention period is required by law.

Your rights
Under Quebec's privacy law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • withdraw consent to a use that was based on your consent (for example, marketing emails or analytics and advertising cookies), subject to legal or contractual limits;
  • file a complaint with us, and, if unsatisfied, with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

To exercise any of these rights, contact support@kranyx.com.

Marketing
If you sign up for marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email we send, or by contacting support@kranyx.com. We do not send marketing communications to customers who have not opted in.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved, relying in large part on the security measures provided by Shopify and Shopify Payments as our platform and payment processor.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent version.
